We are looking for Housekeeping Assistant in Amsterdam. As Housekeeping Asistant you must be multi skilled with organisational qualities. You manage a team housekeeping employees by assigning them tasks, giving instructions and checking the quality of the work performed. You also train new housekeeping employees and also you work with housekeeping staff every day to clean the rooms.
Manage the day-to-day operation
Run room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
Supervising and checking the (outsourced)
Supervisors at the cleanliness of the rooms and to ensure all rooms are in perfect condition at all times.
Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping
Resolve any issues.
Resolving issues, complaints, requests and questions from guests.
Providing service to guests (extra pillows, blankets, etc.) and returning used materials.

What we need.
A minimum of two to three years’ experience in housekeeping in hospitality; field or similar industry is required
Great attention to detail
