“Is it not just net?” “Customers won’t pay for it” Now let’s talk
I’ve seen comments like:
“Some customers will still ask, is it not just net?”
“The net is pretty but customers won’t pay well”
Let me clear something up…
Not every customer is your customer.
There are customers who:
✔️ Understand quality
✔️ Appreciate neat finishing
✔️ Can SEE the difference between regular lace and premium lace
✔️ And yes… they are willing to PAY for it
As a ventilator, I use semi-soft lace to ventilate but I don’t stop there…
I EDUCATE my clients.
I show them:
💥Softer lace options
💥The benefits (more natural look, better melt, luxury finish)
💥Why it costs more
And guess what?
If it aligns with what they want — they pay extra, willingly.
Let me even share real experience…
I’ve never used my HD lookalike lace for a client and they didn’t LOVE it. Not one.
In fact, one of my clients brought all her frontal wigs (old & new) and asked me to convert everything to 5x5 closure using that same lace
Another one? Her neighbour (a hair vendor) saw the result and started sending me wigs to ventilate with that same lace.
So no… it’s not “just net.”
It’s:
✔️ Skill
✔️ Knowledge
✔️ Material
✔️ And RESULTS
My advice to vendors & ventilators
Stop dumbing down your work because of customers who don’t understand it.
Instead:
✔️ Educate
✔️ Show results
✔️ Attract the right clients
Because truth is…
Not every customer loves hard or semi-soft lace — and that’s okay.
Your job is to attract the ones who value what you offer 💯
