Growing up, I watched my dad and mom do their laundry separately.
No “traditional” setup.. my dad handled his clothes himself till he passed.
Now fast forward to today…
My mom has been a bit sick and unable to do much.
Meanwhile she knows I run a cleaning and laundry service.
This morning, while I was doing my own laundry, she quietly brought her bag and said,
“How much for my own?” 😅
In my head I was like…
“Mummy wants people to say I’m a bad daughter abi?” 😂
I just told her not to worry that after Sunday service, I’ll handle it.
But honestly, that moment reminded me…
Not everyone has the strength, time, or energy to handle their laundry all the time.
