A Guide to Color Coding

In the method below, which we adapted from the British Institute of Cleaning Science's (BICSc) Colour Chart, let’s color code by a combination of both task and area to keep the process simple and effective:
* Red: ❤️Use this color on sanitary appliances, restroom floors, toilets, and urinals. Also use red-coded mops on restroom floors.
* Yellow: 💛This color is appropriate for other restroom surfaces, including sinks, towel dispensers, hand dryers, soap dispensers, door handles, walls, etc.
* Green: 💚Use green microfiber for general food and bar cleanup. Use green cloths and mops in non-preparatory food areas such as lunchrooms. An important note: Food prep areas have their own standards through the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system.
* Blue: 💙Reserve this color for general low-risk areas, including common areas, offices, classrooms, etc.
There may be applications where you feel you need to incorporate even more colors than the four listed above. Every facility is different and has different needs.

Use CAMPHOR To Drive Away Mosquitoes.........

IT IS A NATURAL MOSQUITO REPELLENT

Malaria and Dengue are on a steep rise. We all must be using liquid or the old blue tablet type of mosquito repellents sold under various names. Despite their use, it is common to see mosquitoes hovering around with the best of repellents in action. Secondly, we cannot use these mosquito repellents whole day – be they be of any brand. Thirdly, many people land up with allergies due to them.

In the past, man would light diyas and burn camphor on a regular basis as a part of daily puja. These helped to purify the air and keep harmful bacteria, viruses and mosquitoes away! We can definitely have a better and healthy environment with the use of camphor.

Camphor or Kapur is a waxy, white or transparent substance extracted from the wood of the Camphor Laurel tree found in Asia . Camphor has many known medicinal uses-

It relieves nasal congestion and cough when rubbed on the chest as an oil. Camphor is used as an ingredient in throat lozenges and cough syrups and in Vicks. Camphor is also used in some anti-itch ointments, creams and cooling gels because it is can be absorbed through skin and is effective at treating pain locally. It has an analgesic effect which makes it a favorite oil to be used in pain relieving massage blends for sore muscles and arthritic pain. Camphor is known to improve the quality of air making it a better for our lungs and heart.

Many people are not aware of the Mosquito repellent power of Camphor - a simple solution without side effects and very cost effective. CAMPHOR IS A NATURAL MOSQUITO REPELLENT With effect round the clock! You do not need to burn it for that. There are three easier ways to do it –

1. Put 2 tablets of commercially available camphor on any warm surface- the device shown in the picture serves the purpose well. Plug it for an hour and see the results! You can do it twice a day- morning and in the night as well!

2. Place 2 tablets of camphor on different corners of the room or at places where mosquitoes seem to love to stay! Leave them there and they will evaporate in a day or so keeping the air purer and mosquito free.

Many people question whether cobwebs are made by spiders. Final answer: They are. A cobweb is typically made up of the leftover threads of an abandoned spider’s web. The web stays sticky after a spider dies or migrates elsewhere. And those sticky threads are great at snagging dirt, dust, cat hair and so forth. While the thin silk of an active spider web may be hard to spot, the accumulation of dust and dander on a cobweb can quickly become an eyesore.
How to clean cobwebs

There’s no great secret to figuring out how to clean cobwebs. All you have to do is dust regularly. Ideally, you should dust your house on a weekly basis. But over the course of a week, your schedule may be so hectic that you find yourself wondering how to dust, clean the kitchen, make dinner and take the dog to the vet without sacrificing sleep or purchasing a time machine. Since time machines and sleep deprivation aren’t viable options, you can push out dusting every two weeks.

When you do dust, you’ll want to work from top to bottom, making sure you hit upper corners where cobwebs tend to form. Cover any furniture or items below corners with a towel so they don’t get dusty. Vacuum the floor afterward to prevent the dust and dirt from recirculating.

Additionally, don’t forget to dust your window blinds, ceiling fans and around air conditioning vents. Because these items move or circulate air, they play a large role in spreading dust and dander about your home.
