Your Landlord or Landlady is not wicked because they asked for your house rent when it's due....
Factors to consider before renting an apartment???
1. If you borrow money or being given money to rent an apartment today; are you going to be given same money same time next year to pay your rent?
* Work this out mentally before making this decision.
2. How much is your daily or monthly income.
How much can you save comfortably on a daily basis?
* Multiply whatever you can save on a daily basis by 365 days; then whatever you have can be equal to the amount of type of house you can rent.
It's either less than that amount or same amount...
E.g if you can save 2k daily: it simply means you can pay for a house from 50 to 730,000 Nigeria naira.
Note: The condition here is determined on how assured you income steady flow is.
Remember, you'll need to equally invest in having your own house... So you can stay in a less affordable place now and save to build your personal House.
3. How much will it cost you to get to your place of work on daily basis?
If you calculate it and it's equal to getting a house around your place of work and still be comfortable with extra change to cater for the family needs and more; then live close to your place of work.
4. The house you'll be renting; does it have an outstanding water, light or security bill?
* Confirm so you don't end up spending unnecessary money that will jeopardize your repayment when due....
5. Is there water in the house? Are you going to be buying water from a vendor?
* Remember, if you calculate the amount you'll be paying for buying water with your house rent and it can get you a better house at same amount, go for it as long as you'll be able to comfortably save such on daily basis and pay when due.
In summary:
Never live your life above your standard per Time.
Life is in phases!
Men are in sizes!
If your daily expenditure is above your daily income... You'll continue to live in Dept and may not reach your goals and dreams soon....
