DUST AND ASTHMA ARE NOT FRIENDS!!!

Did you know that asthmatic attacks can be triggered by dust?

Studies have shown that asthmatic patients are predisposed to increased attacks resulting from dust in the homes daily.

If you or anyone around you is asthmatic, ensure to always keep your environment not just warm but more importantly, clean and dustfree.

Put appropriate measures in place;
Dust furniture everyday with water and soap. (Cover the ones that are not being used)
Use allergen-proof bed covers and pillowcases. Also beat mattress lightly and lift it up while sweeping if it's on the floor.
Clean the windows regularly
Avoid materials made of fur and in extreme cases avoid pests as they too can trigger asthmatic attacks.
Don't use feathery pillows, quilts and comforters
Wash your beddings weekly and ensure it dries completely
Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and floors daily
Keep relative humidity levels in the home low, around 30-50%.
