𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.
When she called, she asked me a question that I hear from many people.
"𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠 𝑚𝑦 𝑏𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑢𝑝 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛?"
That question is bigger than most people realize.
Many people become focused on the numbers they see on the blood pressure machine.
150 today.
170 tomorrow.
145 the next day.
But a blood pressure reading tells you what is happening.
It doesn't always tell you why it is happening.
High blood pressure can be influenced by many different factors, including 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬, 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩, 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, and other medical issues.
One lesson I've learned over the years is this:
Treating a blood pressure reading isn't the same as understanding what's causing it.
That is why I advised her to undergo further medical evaluation before continuing with a full personalized herbal support plan.
Without understanding the possible causes, you're only reacting to the numbers instead of addressing what may be driving them.
𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧: A blood pressure machine gives you a reading. Proper medical assessment helps identify possible reasons behind that reading.
Would you like me to share the important medical tests that can help identify possible reasons why blood pressure keeps rising and falling?
Comment "𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓" and I'll make that my next educational post.
If you've been struggling with high blood pressure or your readings seem to fluctuate without a clear explanation, don't wait until it becomes an emergency.
The first step isn't guessing.
It's understanding what may be contributing to it.
As a herbal practitioner, my approach is to carefully review your medical history, lifestyle, diet, symptoms, and available test results before recommending a personalized herbal support plan. When needed, I also encourage appropriate medical evaluation to help ensure you receive the most suitable care.
Sometimes the most important step isn't finding another remedy.
It's asking the right questions first.
