Bad Fuel in circulation.
Tell your mechanic to do these;
- Purge the fuel tank (reports show water was mixed with fuel or some diesel-like substance into circulation).
- Clean or replace the fuel filter
- Check to see that your fuel pump is still active. If yes, clean the filter underneath the pump. If no, replace the pump.
Flush the nozzles to ensure it passes fuel through.
- Clean the actuator (injector) with an injector cleaner only.
- Check your coils for electric current transmission
- Check your spark plugs against oil or carbon presence due to combustion of adulterated fuel.
…and your vehicle is back to optimal performance.
