I am a dry clearner Atanda, there is a challenge i face in my line of duty and i need a final legal solution to it today.

Some customers will bring clothes and abandon it for over 3 months, one year, two years and more.

Some of them will even pass by and greet you, then act like they did not even give you any clothes

They are waiting for the day Something will happen, so they will show up and might take the matter up Legally

Is there a clause i can add to my receipt to take off the legal responsibility of keeping their clothes if they abandon it

Atanda, i am a dry cleaner. Recently, one of my customer's clother went missing and i sincerely don't understand how it got lost.
Atanda, the customer dragged me to the Police station and we finally had a gentle man written agreement outside the station where i agree to pay her for the missing clothes

She claimed the clothe cost 350k and i paid 150k immediately and promise to remaining balance up the following month.

Two weeks later, i saw the clothe and i quickly called her to let her know that i i have seen the clothe.
Atanda, she said that she doesn't need the clothe again that i have to balance her the money as agreed.

I disagreed, explaining that since i have found the clother, she should refund the money i had already paid her, while i return her the clothes

Before you know, just yesterday

I got a letter from her lawyer demanding i make full payment for the clothes as promised next month or else, they will take the matter to the court and seek for additional damages.
