In line with the resolution of the 10th ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting held in Singapore on 22 July 2010, 15 June of each year has been designated as “ASEAN Dengue Day,” to highlight the importance of addressing the burden of dengue.
This year’s campaign, themed “ASEAN United: Zero Dengue Deaths – A Future We Build Together by 2030,” aims to increase awareness and strengthen collaboration, while providing a platform for knowledge sharing among public health professionals and stakeholders from the public, private, and civil society sectors.
As part of our commitment to public safety, Envirocon Pest Management Sdn Bhd deploys an Integrated Vector Management (IVM) framework designed to mitigate the dengue endemic scientifically:
Source Reduction (Search & Destroy): Methodical site mapping to locate and eliminate cryptic breeding habitats.
Chemical Control (Larviciding & Fogging): Utilizing regulatory-approved larvicides for water bodies and tactical fogging to control adult Aedes aegypti populations during peak transmission hours.
Public-Private Partnership: Conducting interactive knowledge-sharing seminars and toolbox talks for corporate staff to foster a localized culture of vigilance.
With a legacy of environmental commitment since 1996, our expert interventions ensure your business remains compliant with local health regulations while keeping your workforce safe.
