π‘ How to Protect Yourself and Your Family
* Avoid Contact with Wild Birds: Avoid touching wild birds or their droppings. Avoid visiting live bird markets or poultry farms unless necessary.
* Practice Good Hygiene: Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, especially after handling poultry or eggs. Use hand sanitizers when soap and water are not available.
* Cook Poultry Thoroughly: Ensure that all poultry and eggs are cooked properly to kill any viruses. Avoid consuming raw or undercooked poultry products.
* Report Sick or Dead Birds: If you encounter any sick or dead birds, report them to local health authorities immediately. Do not handle them yourself.
