6th DEKUT International Conference on Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

In support of the Conference's theme: Leveraging Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship For Sustainable Development,Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company Limited joined Dedan Kimathi University of Technology and other partners on a Three day Conference from 9th to 11th November 2022, that is aimed at creating a platform for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss, engage and publish research work related to National Development.

NYEWASCO will deliver a presentation on Water, Energy, GIS and Remote Sensing, Environment and Climate Change on 10th November 2022.

We encourage our customers, clients, students pursuing related courses to come and interact with us.

THE RAINS ARE HERE. FIND A REASON TO GROW A TREE.
In realization that our Core Resource is dependant on the wellbeing of our environment, Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company Limited in fulfillment of our corporate goals embarked on a tree planting drive at Nyeri Hill today 4th November 2022.

Led by Chief Manager, Technical Services, we commemorated 2 years anniversary since the demise of our former MD, the late CPA. Peter Gichaaga .

Mr Gichaaga was a champion for Environment Conservation and as NYEWASCO Family we pledge to walk in this light.

A special recognition to APA Insurance KE Nyeri Branch who graced and supported this noble activity.

Celebrating 25 Years of Existence and Grace

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

This morning Nyewasco family joined together for a Church Holy Mass and a Thanksgiving ceremony to cerebrate 25 years since the company was registered in September 1997.

The presiding Minister, Father John Kiruki taught on the importance of selfless service in the positions that we hold and be sure to give thanks regardless of how deserving we are of God's blessings.
On His part, The Managing Director Eng Peter Kahuthu offered a reflection of the company's journey and pledged a collective effort in seeing Nyewasco scaling to greater heights.

Nyeri Town is a Step Cleaner Today

As a way to end the Customer Service Week, Nyewasco management and staff joined hands for a Town cleanup drive in Nyeri Town on 7th October 2022.

Addressing the staff before the commencement of the exercise, the Chief Managers reiterated the company's commitment on the environment conservation and management, and the timely need for each one of us to become responsible members of the community by maintaining sustainable waste practices such as recycling, reusing and reducing waste as much as possible.
Also present was the nominated mca Nyeri County Fidelis Kanene.

Maintaining a clean environment is a human responsibility.

Conserving the environment is a core goal in our 5 Year Strategic Plan.

In achieving the goal of planting one million trees, NYEWASCO team led by Managing Director Eng. Peter Kahuthu conducted yet another tree planting drive at Zaina Forest on 29th of September 2022 and managed to plant 2500 trees.

This is a journey we have pledged to walk in ensuring that we move towards achieving environmental sustainability goals that have both immediate and long term impact.

When we say we are on a mission to conserve Mother Nature, We mean business!

NYEWASCO members of the Board today joined our tree planting drive in Nyeri Hill. Led by Board Chairman Patrick Karinga, the team gave our environmental conservation efforts a boost by planting indigenous trees in the forest. The board members were flanked by the senior management and Hon. Wahinya MCA, Dedan Kimathi Ward.
Further, they visited all company facilities for an inspection so as to ensure that they are operating optimally.
