NYEWASCO, in collaboration with senior metrology officers from the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), conducted a focused two-day, practical training on uncertainty in meter calibration laboratories in line with ISO 17025:2017.

The training equipped technical staff with hands-on skills to assess and minimize measurement uncertainty, strengthening the accuracy and reliability of meter calibration processes. This is a critical step in ensuring fair billing, improving water accountability, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

The initiative underscores NYEWASCO’s commitment to attaining internationally recognized standards and embedding a culture of quality assurance across its operations. By progressing toward full compliance with ISO 17025:2017, the company is reinforcing the integrity, transparency, and credibility of its services.
