Nyasomo sacco was started in 1978 by the non teaching and teaching staff from private institutions (Primary, Secondary and Colleges) across Laikipia, Nyandarua and Nakuru counties. It has over 900 members. In the year 2015 it opened its doors to employees from other institutions and CLASS B members who are business individual members. Registered groups are also incorporated.
