🌸 One damaged bud can mean one rejected flower stem.

The beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) is a highly destructive pest of floricultural and ornamental crops. Its larvae skeletonize leaves, create irregular holes, and attack tender buds and flowers—reducing both quality and marketability.

Don’t wait for visible damage.
Bioenemy’s Spodoptera exigua pheromone supports:
✅ Early detection of male moth activity
✅ Accurate pest monitoring
✅ Better timing of IPM interventions
✅ Reduced unnecessary insecticide applications
✅ Resistance-management decisions based on real field data

For stronger control, combine pheromone monitoring with regular scouting, greenhouse sanitation, removal of weeds and crop residues, biological control and responsible insecticide rotation
Monitor early. Intervene precisely. Protect every marketable stem.
Available for floriculture and ornamental growers across East Africa.

🟨🟦 GO BEYOND SPOT MONITORING — COVER THE ENTIRE CROP LINE!

Introducing our BioSticky Roller Traps— designed for continuous monitoring and mass trapping of flying pests in greenhouses and protected crops.
✅ 15 cm × 100 m – ideal for targeted crop-row coverage
✅ 30 cm × 100 m – wider surface for greater trapping capacity
🟨 Yellow: Whiteflies, aphids, leaf miners & other flying pests
🟦 Blue: Particularly effective for thrips monitoring & trapping

Roller traps provide a continuous adhesive barrier along crop rows, greenhouse perimeters and pest entry points, helping growers detect pest build-up early and reduce pest pressure as part of an Integrated Pest Management programme.

🌱 Monitor earlier. Trap more. Protect better.

PEST CONTROL DOESN’T STOP AT THE LEAVES!

Some important pest stages are hiding below the crop — in the soil and growing media.

Meet BioHypoaspis, our soil-dwelling predatory mite that actively searches for and feeds on:

🔸 Fungus gnat larvae🔸 Thrips pupae in the growing media🔸 Other small soil-dwelling pest stages

This makes BioHypoaspis a valuable component of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programme—attacking pests where conventional foliar scouting can easily miss them.

🌿 Above the crop. Below the crop. Build biological protection throughout the production system.

Because beneficials are living organisms, correct handling matters too. During hot conditions, release them during the cooler parts of the day and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sun or excessive heat.

🍓 Purple/Red Leaves in Strawberry? Look at the Root Zone.

Red-purple coloration on older strawberry leaves can indicate physiological stress and restricted nutrient movement, especially phosphorus.

Common causes include:
• Cold or poorly aerated root zones
• High EC / salinity stress
• Excess moisture or weak root activity
• Reduced nutrient uptake and transport

We simply give you MICROSENSE® Swift
MICROSENSE® Swift combines fulvic acids, amino acids and essential nutrients to support root activity, nutrient uptake and efficient nutrient transport while helping the crop cope with environmental stress.

Better root activity → Better nutrition → Stronger strawberry growth and productivity.

We already introduced OBM — a dual enzyme-based contact bioinsecticide powered by chitinase and protease.

Designed for rapid contact action against key pests, including thrips, whiteflies, aphids, mites, mealybugs and exposed larvae.

OBM offers high-value crop producers a promising biological tool for stronger IPM programmes, reduced reliance on multiple synthetic interventions and improved crop-protection efficiency.

Bioenemy Africa is now partnering with selected farms for local trials & commercial in flowers, tomato, capsicum, export vegetables and herbs.

Interested in evaluating OBM on your farm? Contact us to arrange a professionally supported trial.

Asante Sagat, asante Baringo!

Last Friday, 31st July 2026, we successfully concluded a farmers’ field day at Sagat, Baringo County.

The session focused on training tomato farmers about the unique characteristics of Dansal F1, including its strong plant vigour, uniform fruit clusters, firmness, marketability, extended harvesting period, and tolerance to major soil-borne diseases.

We appreciate all the farmers and partners who participated and shared their field experiences. Together, we are promoting better variety selection, improved productivity, and more profitable tomato farming.
