🚛 Krummen Kerzers e i leggendari viaggi verso il Medio Oriente

Negli anni '70 e '80 il trasporto internazionale viveva una delle sue epoche più affascinanti. Tra le aziende che hanno scritto pagine importanti della storia dell'autotrasporto europeo spicca senza dubbio Krummen Kerzers, storica impresa svizzera che, grazie alla qualità dei propri mezzi e all'esperienza dei suoi autisti, affrontava le lunghe rotte dirette verso il Medio Oriente.

Questi viaggi rappresentavano una vera avventura: migliaia di chilometri attraverso Europa, Balcani e Turchia, fino a raggiungere Paesi come Iraq, Iran, Giordania e Arabia Saudita. Strade difficili, condizioni climatiche estreme, lunghe attese alle frontiere e un'organizzazione impeccabile erano parte della quotidianità di chi percorreva queste tratte.

Tra i protagonisti di quegli anni c'era anche il Volvo F12, uno dei camion più apprezzati per affidabilità, robustezza e comfort. Un mezzo capace di affrontare senza esitazioni le lunghe percorrenze che caratterizzavano i trasporti internazionali dell'epoca.

Il modello che vi presento oggi vuole essere un omaggio a quella stagione irripetibile dell'autotrasporto. Ho realizzato questa replica del Volvo F12 Krummen Kerzers, cercando di riprodurre fedelmente livrea e dettagli del veicolo originale.

Per ottenere il massimo realismo ho utilizzato le grafiche realizzate da Max-Model, fondamentali per ricreare le decorazioni e l'identità visiva che hanno reso questi camion immediatamente riconoscibili.

Ogni modello racconta una storia, e questo Volvo F12 racconta quella di uomini, camion e lunghi viaggi che hanno contribuito a scrivere una delle pagine più affascinanti del trasporto internazionale.

🚛 Krummen Kerzers and its legendary journeys to the Middle East

In the 1970s and 1980s, international transport was experiencing one of its most fascinating periods. Among the companies that have written important chapters in the history of European road haulage, Krummen Kerzers undoubtedly stands out: a historic Swiss firm which, thanks to the quality of its vehicles and the experience of its drivers, tackled the long routes to the Middle East.

These journeys were a true adventure: thousands of kilometres across Europe, the Balkans and Turkey, all the way to countries such as Iraq, Iran, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Challenging roads, extreme weather conditions, long waits at borders and impeccable organisation were all part of daily life for those travelling these routes.

Among the stars of those years was the Volvo F12, one of the most highly regarded lorries for its reliability, robustness and comfort. It was a vehicle capable of tackling, without hesitation, the long-haul journeys that characterised international transport at the time.

The model I’m presenting to you today is intended as a tribute to that unique era of road haulage. I’ve created this replica of the Volvo F12 Krummen Kerzers, striving to faithfully reproduce the livery and details of the original vehicle.

To achieve maximum realism, I’ve used graphics created by Max-Model, which were essential for recreating the livery and visual identity that made these lorries instantly recognisable.

Every model tells a story, and this Volvo F12 tells the story of the men, the lorries and the long journeys that helped write one of the most fascinating chapters in the history of international transport.
