Dear All,
This is a warning notice for everyone selling Alphonso / Hapus mangoes here.
As you know, Alphonso Mango has been granted the Geographical Indications status. Hence Alphonso is now a recognised intellectual property, and only authorised users are permitted sell mangoes calling them as Alphonso.

Any person, be it farmer, seller, processors, etc who is selling Alphonso / Hapus mangoes, or products, has to be compulsorily registered under the GI Act, with due authorisation from the registered proprietor of Alphonso.

Anyone who is not registered under the GI Act, but is selling Alphonso, will be liable for penal action, under Section 39 and Section 40 of the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act 1999, which has a provision of imprisonment up to 3 years, and fine upto Rs 2 lakh, as well as liable to pay compensation under the Intellectual Property Laws.

All those selling Alphonso / Hapus here are being monitored, and would soon start getting legal notices.

Hence, all those who are not registered under Geographical Indications (GI) for Alphonso, are advised to delete their posts selling Alphonso. If not, you are advised to get registered for Alphonso GI, more details here https://alphonsogi.com/.
Failing either of the two steps will leave you open for legal action under the GI Act.
Admins of the group are also advised to kindly approve Alphonso related posts from people who are duly authorised and registered under the GI Act only, else the lawyers will pull you in too as abettors. 😊

रत्नागिरी हापूस आंबा घरपोच सेवा देताना आम्हाला सर्वात पहिला विचारला जाणारा प्रश्न म्हणजे "हा रत्नागिरी हापूस आहे ना?" आणि याचे कारण म्हणजे कर्नाटक आणि इतर हापूस मुळे ग्राहकांची केली जाणारी फसवणूक. चला तर पाहूया कसा ओळखायचा रत्नागिरी हापूस, आणि हो आम्ही तुम्हाला रत्नागिरी हापूस घरपोच डिलीवर करू

१) आतील रंग:- रत्नागिरी हापूस हा कापल्यावर केशरी दिसतो. पिवळा दिसत असेल तर तो रत्नागिरी हापूस असण्याची शक्यता कमी आहे.

२) सुगंध:- रत्नागिरी हापूसच्या देठाला सुवास येतो इतर आंब्यांना तुलनेत सुगंध खूप कमी येतो. रत्नागिरी हापूस तयार असेल तर सुरकुत्या आणि देठाकडे सुगंध येतो. रत्नागिरी हापूसची पेटी उघल्यावर प्रचंड घमघमाट सुटतो.

३) आकार:- रत्नागिरी हापूस खालून गोलाकार असतो. इतर हापूस खालून टोकदर असतात. खरेदी करताना मध्यम आकाराचे घेतलेले उत्तम.

४) साल :- आंब्याच्या सालीवरून देखील तुम्ही रत्नागिरी हापूस ओळखु शकता. रत्नागिरीची साल हि पातळ असते. इतर आंब्यांची साल जाड असते.

५) बाहेरील रंग:- केमिकल विरहित रत्नागिरी हापूस हा हिरवट पिवळा किंवा पिवळा असतो.

६) स्पर्श:- आतमध्ये तयार होण्याची प्रक्रिया चालू असल्यामुळे, पेटी उघडल्यावर रत्नागिरी हापूस थोडा हाताला उबदार लागतो (बाहेरील तापमान आणि हापूस कसे ठेवलेत यावर पण उबदारपणा अवलंबून आहे.)

आणि सर्वात महत्वाचे म्हणजे आपला लाडका रत्नागिरी हापूस हा चवीला अत्यंत गोड असतो. रत्नागिरी हापूस खाताना हाच फळांचा राजा हि भावना एकदा तरी मनात येतेच. तर मग कधी ऑर्डर करताय
