"There is no wrong time to do the right thing" as the saying goes.

Out from the blue, a Team of students called the residential school Rottung headed by the Head Teacher Sri Nong Saroh accompanied by his staff and Supported by resource person like Sri Tajir Siram, Brand Ambassador for Swachch Abhiyaan and enthusiastic social worker with more than 50 students happened to reach Rayang village and conducted social service as "swachtha hi seva," Mission clean drive following the Mission of Govt. of India against eradication of use of plastic by 2030.
There was an exciting freindly football match in between Redidential School Rottung and UPS Rayang where the match was drawn and decided by penalty shot out where UPS Rayang was fortunate to win by 4-2.
Co-incidentally a member of anti Drug Mission Sri Tapir Darang, State Chief Adviser anti Drug Mission arrived and joined the rare and unique occassion at Football Ground UPS, Rayang and advised the students, How to stay away from using contraband items.
The initiation of this wonderful program was undertaken by Bhai Sisang Angong group of Rayang village called BSA headed by Sri Sanjeev Gamoh as president who are committing to give back to the society with various social works for the Development of the society.
The Head Teacher, Sri Tabang Sitang also welcomed and appreciated the Rottung and Bhai Sisang Angong(BSA) Team for the maiden ocaasion as a torch bearing activity. He also conducted a pledge ceremony to both the school School students against Drug addiction.
Lastly but not the least Honourable ZPM, Smty Anung Gammeng in presence of Head GB, Sri Obang Saroh, GB, Mikkong Eko, BSA Members and others village folks, while giving the vote thanks appreciated the activity committed by the various stakeholders as a Very encouraging initiative and wish everyone present for Happy and safe return journey.
