FXB India Suraksha (FXBIS) is an Indian non-profit organization providing development assistance to marginalized communities in rural & urban India.

FXB India Suraksha (FXBIS) is an Indian non-governmental, non-profit organization providing developmental assistance to disadvantaged children, families and communities in rural and urban India. The well-being and protection of children is at the heart of all FXBIS interventions. In order to ensu

re a child-friendly environment FXBIS committed to redress social vulnerabilities by empowering marginalized families and strengthening communities. As the country chapter of the Geneva-based NGO François-Xavier Bagnoud International (FXBI), FXB’s activities in India date back to 1991. In 2007 FXB India Suraksha was established as an autonomous Indian entity registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. FXBIS’ area of intervention expanded over the years from its original focus on working with families affect by HIV/Aids to a community-based, multi-sectoral programme approach along its four ‘Domains for Change' – Access to Quality Education, Poverty and Livelihood, Improved Health Status, and Child Rights and Protection. Currently FXBIS is directly implementing projects covering issues related to the areas of children rights and protection, gender equality, improved health and nutrition, sanitation and water, care and support to HIV/Aids infected and affected people, better education, enhanced livelihoods options as well as human trafficking prevention. Today, FXBIS works in different pockets across 12 states and union territories of India, reaching out to over 400,000 people through its community-based integrated interventions.

FXB India Suraksha recently participated in the 6th edition of the IFCCI CSR Conclave held in New Delhi, India. As an , FXBIS got the opportunity to showcase its impactful work at the grassroots, including one of its handloom promotion projects under the brand name which has impacted 3000+ local of Assam.
The event, themed ‘Beyond Metrics: Putting Impact at the Forefront’, brought together over 120+ business leaders, policymakers, CSR leaders, and non-profit organizations from top French and Indian companies to discuss the evolving role of CSR and achieving long-term tangible outcomes.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests including, H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of , and former Indian cricketer Sehwag, who shared insights on CSR and innovation including many other dignitaries from Technology Services, India, Paribas Foundation, Electric India, , , , India, & Co and .

FXB India Suraksha participated in the two-day CSR Connect 2024: Unlocking Potential event organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) at Habitat Centre, Delhi on 3rd-4th July 2024.

Alongside 25+ NGOs, FXBIS got the opportunity to showcase its impactful work in North East India, including one of its hand-loom promotion projects under the brand name which has impacted 3000+ local of Assam.

🎉 Exciting Announcement - MOU Signing 🎉

FXB India Suraksha has signed an MoU with the Parimal lab of Madhya Pradesh Police at the Justice Inclusion and Victim Access Conference ( ) held at the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal.
This marks a significant milestone in our mission to combat human trafficking (HT) and enhance child protection. Through this collaboration, we're set to advance training and action research for the Madhya Pradesh Police officials.
Since 2019, FXBIS has trained over 5000 frontline police officials and developed victim identification protocols for the Madhya Pradesh police.
