🌿 A Moment of Pride. A Step Towards Sustainable Water Management. 🌿
Yesterday, we proudly marked the inauguration of our 5.0 lakh litre (0.5 MLD) IWT-based Green Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) by the Hon’ble Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Cluster 10 & 12, Haldia Refinery Township, West Bengal.
This initiative goes beyond infrastructure - it reflects a shared commitment to environmental responsibility, water conservation, and long-term sustainability.
💧 Project Highlights:
• Nature-based, minimal-energy treatment process
• Treated wastewater reused for horticulture and gardening, reducing freshwater dependency and consumption
• Designed for optimum space utilisation with seamless landscape integration
• Primary treatment area developed as green cover (golf turf), enhancing aesthetics and ecological value
♻️ By promoting circular water use, the project significantly lowers environmental impact while strengthening sustainable township water management practices.
