CLEANLINESS BEGINS AT HOME. SHINOL brands journey started with this simple maxim coined by Sharad Pandhi, the founder of Chirag Industries, makers of SHINOL cleaning products. He had often wondered if there was a way to equip the Indian household with quality cleaning products devoid of harmful toxic chemicals so common in multi-national brands popular in the market. From that desire came years of research and experimentation that resulted in a series of amazing cleaning products that have become increasingly popular among the discerning Indian population looking for eco-friendly cleaning products of high quality. Products that are safe to use at home, around children, elders and household pets.
From a small beginning in 2000 to the establishment of the SHINOL brand in 2007, it has been a remarkable journey of growth and success. From casual users of a new experimental cleaning product to an expanding number of retail and institutional customers looking for cost effective yet quality products, the story of SHINOL has been built on the support and encouragement of its very satisfied clientele.
As the popularity of the products has grown, so have the opportunities for expansion of market. The next phase of this extraordinary story of acceptance and growth of 18 years has led to the establishment of manufacturing facilities in Lucknow UP in 2018. That facility is now in full operational mode and ready to serve the northern and eastern markets in India.
