How to check the Purity Of Petrol at a petrol pump?

* In India, it is always considered that petrol pumps do not sell the pure and high-quality petrol which is completely wrong. This malpractices used to happen in the late 80's and early 90's. The petrol pumps situated in national / state highways used to sell kerosene mixed petrol to the consumers in those days. Oil producing companies in India have the strong policy to sell only the pure petrol in its pumps but the distributors contaminate it. It was beyond the reach of the consumers to get the pure petrol. Thanks to the effort of the government and OMCs these malpractices are completely eradicated. Mixed petrol harms the vehicle engine in a big way. Therefore, it is always advisable to test the purity of petrol before putting it in your vehicle. We, at Bhavesh Petroleum have a very strong policy regarding the purity of Petrol and Diesel.
* There are a number of ways by which you can check the purity pf petrol.
* Here are few simple and convenient methods to check petrol purity.
• Method 1: Whatzmann Paper Test.
Take the Whatzmann paper and put 2-3 drops of petrol over it. If the petrol evaporates within little time leaving no stain or mark on the filter paper, it means petrol is pure and of good quality. If it leaves any stain or mark on the filter paper, then petrol is not pure and of bad quality.
• Method 2: Thermometer Test.
If the petrol is mixed with some other oil / lubricant then generally its temperature comes down than the normally prescribed limit. You can check from the Oil producing companies what is the normal temperature of unutilized pure petrol. Put drops of petrol on the thermometer and noted its temperature. If it is below than the prescribed limit suggested by Oil producing companies then it means petrol is not pure. Remember always ask if the petrol is Ethanol mixed or not. If it ethanol mixed then temperatures might further go down.
•Method 3: Copper Gauze Test
Put few drops of petrol on copper gauze. If it contains kerosene then it will burn immediately leaving smell and dust. This signifies impurity in petrol.
•Method 4: Burn it to Test
For test the petrol using this method, you can take the small quantity of petrol in a vessel and throw a burning match stick in it. If it catches fire instantaneously and burning with the bright color flame then it means petrol is pure and of high quality. Otherwise, if it burns slowly leaving dust then it means it some portion of kerosene in it.

मी पेट्रोल पंपमध्ये शुद्ध पेट्रोल कसे तपासू?

* भारतात नेहमी असे मानले जाते की पेट्रोल पंप शुद्ध आणि उच्च दर्जाचे पेट्रोल विकत नाहीत जे पूर्णपणे चुकीचे आहे. 80 च्या दशकाच्या उत्तरार्धात आणि 90 च्या दशकाच्या सुरुवातीस हे गैरव्यवहार घडत असे. राष्ट्रीय / राज्य महामार्गांवर स्थित पेट्रोल पंप त्या दिवसांत ग्राहकांना केरोसिन मिश्रित पेट्रोल विकत असत. भारतातील तेल उत्पादक कंपन्यांपेक्षा केवळ पंपमध्ये शुद्ध पेट्रोल विकण्यासाठी मजबूत धोरण आहेत. शुद्ध पेट्रोल ग्राहकांना मिळावे हे फारच चांगले म्हणुन सरकार आणि ओएमसी या दोघांना मिळून हा गैरव्यवहार पूर्णपणे नष्ट केल्या आहेत.
मिश्र पेट्रोलमुळे वाहन इंजिन मोठ्या प्रमाणात नुकसान होते. म्हणूनच पेट्रोलच्या शुद्धतेची तपासणी करणे नेहमीच चांगले. भावेश पेट्रोलियममध्ये पेट्रोल आणि डीजलच्या शुद्धते बद्दल खूप मजबूत धोरणे आहेत.
* बर्याच मार्गांनी आपण शुद्धता पीएफ पेट्रोल तपासू शकता.
* पेट्रोल शुद्धता तपासण्यासाठी येथे काही सोपी आणि सोयीस्कर पद्धती आहेत.
• पद्धत 1: व्हाटझमान पेपर चाचणी.
व्हाटझमान पेपर घ्या आणि त्यावरील पेट्रोलचे 2-3 थेंब टाका. जर पेट्रोलचा थोड्याच वेळात भाषपीकरण झाले आणि फिल्टर पेपरवर कोणताही दाग किंवा ठिपके नसल्यास याचा अर्थ पेट्रोल शुद्ध आणि चांगली गुणवत्ता आहे. जर फिल्टर पेपरवर कोणताही दाग किंवा खूण सोडले तर पेट्रोल शुद्ध आणि खराब गुणवत्ता नसते.
• पद्धत 2: थर्मामीटर चाचणी.
जर पेट्रोल इतर तेल / स्नेहक पदार्थात मिसळले तर साधारणपणे त्याची तपमान साधारणपणे निर्धारित मर्यादेपेक्षा कमी होते. आपण तेल उत्पादक कंपन्यांकडून तपासू शकता जे न वापरलेले शुद्ध पेट्रोलचे सामान्य तापमान आहे. थर्मामीटरवर पेट्रोलचे थेंब टाका आणि त्याचे तापमान नोंदवा. ते तेल उत्पादक कंपन्यांनी सुचविलेल्या निर्धारित मर्यादेपेक्षा कमी असल्यास याचा अर्थ पेट्रोल शुद्ध नाही. हे लक्षात ठेवा की पेट्रोल इथॅनॉल मिश्रित आहे किंवा नाही. इथेनॉल मिश्रित असल्यास तापमान आणखी खाली जाऊ शकते.
• पद्धत 3: कॉपर गझ चाचणी
तांबे गॉझवर पेट्रोलचे काही थेंब टाका. त्यात केरोसिन असल्यास ते लगेच गंध व धूर सोडत जाळून जाईल. यामुळे पेट्रोलमध्ये अशुद्धता दिसून येते.
• पद्धत 4: चाचणीवर बर्न करा
या पद्धतीचा वापर करून पेट्रोलची चाचणी घेण्यासाठी आपण एका छोट्या कंटेनर मध्ये कमी प्रमाणात पेट्रोल घ्या व त्याला कडीपेटीने आग लावा. जर पेट्रोल तत्काळ पेटले आणि तेजस्वी रंगाच्या ज्वालासह जळत असेल तर याचा अर्थ पेट्रोल शुद्ध आणि उच्च दर्जाचे आहे. अन्यथा, जर ते हळूहळू धूर सोडत असेल तर याचा अर्थ त्यात भेसळ आहे.
