Hello friends!
As we all know, numerous rivers and streams in Assam are on the verge of extinction due to anthropogenic reasons and climate change. The anthropogenic reasons include the diversion of rivers and the dumping of wastes into them. Liquid and solid waste disposals are leading to hydrologic and ecological changes in the rivers.
We are here to request your kind cooperation and active support in our initiatives to rejuvenate the degraded rivers, streams, beels, and ponds of Assam. We are starting with Bharalu, Mora-Bharalu, Bahini, and Basistha rivulets in Guwahati and we are banking on public participation.
Our environment is in distress, and it is our responsibility to protect it before it gets too late. Join the movement of rejuvenating the rivulets in Guwahati. Please help us bring them back to life from their deathbed.
Let's come together and take a pledge to promote harmony with nature.
