This weekend I woke up to something I never thought I would experience because of my business.
I received a series of threatening messages from a competitor in Limerick, including threats of violence if I did not step away from my business.
I have worked extremely hard to build what I have, and I will not be intimidated, bullied or threatened into walking away from it.
The matter has now been formally reported to An Garda Síochána. I have given a full statement and supplied all of the evidence in my possession.
Because there is an active Garda investigation, I will not be naming anyone or releasing the recordings publicly at this stage.
There is competition in every industry. But there is a very clear line between competition and threatening somebody because you want them out of business.
For now, I am letting Gardaí deal with it properly. My focus remains on my family, my team, my customers and continuing to run my business as normal.
I’m not going anywhere.
