🚐 FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM | FULL TRANSFORMATION ✨
Another big job completed by DC Detail Lab, and this one was certainly a challenge!
We carried out a full paint correction, ceramic coating and complete interior detail on this Ford Transit Custom.
The biggest battle of the day was one full side of the van being absolutely caked in expanding foam. It was seriously stuck on, and it took a good few hours of careful work, patience and plenty of elbow grease to get it safely removed without damaging the paintwork.
Fair play to the customer too, because he actually got stuck in and gave me a hand removing the foam. 🤝 That definitely helped get through it!
Once the foam was finally gone, we could get properly stuck into the paintwork. The van received a full paint correction to bring the finish back up, followed by a ceramic coating to protect the freshly corrected paint and give it that deep, glossy finish.
The interior also received a full detail, bringing the inside back up to the same standard as the exterior.
And the finished result speaks for itself… 🔥
The customer was absolutely delighted and said he had never seen the van looking that good before.
This was also our first time working in Ventry, so it was great to get out there and take on the job. It turned into a long day, but when you stand back at the end and see the finished van looking like showroom condition, it’s all worth it.
