Fair play to everyone standing up at the docks in Galway and nationwide.

The cost of fuel has gone beyond a joke at this stage. It’s crippling working people, small businesses, and entire industries — especially construction, transport, agricultural, anyone trying to make an honest living.

We see it every day on the ground. Margins squeezed, jobs getting harder to make stack, and pressure piling on families.

People have had enough — and rightly so.

We fully support peaceful protest and anyone out there making their voice heard.

If there’s anything we can do to help on the ground, don’t hesitate to reach out.

We are open this morning and have electricity. If you need to catch up on your laundry with the power outage in Achill and surrounding areas please drop any Personal laundry in and we be happy to help.
