Maple Leaf Services is entrusted to provide services for housekeeping, engineering and hospitality at NavaPark, BSD, Tangerang, Indonesia.

NavaPark is a prime 68-hectare residential township including landed houses, apartments and some commercial components in the heart of BSD City, an established suburban area to the southwest of Central Jakarta, has been developed and sold over several phases from 2014 onwards by PT. Bumi Parama Wisesa (a JV of Sinar Mas Land and Hong Kong Land).

Nemu was one of the abandoned kittens; emaciated, skin problems, heavy discharge from the eyes, fever and dehydrated – he was dying in the middle of the street. Vet identified that it was feline calicivirus (FCV). Nemu received an immediate medical care, IV in his scrawny leg. After almost 2 weeks of treatment, Nemu turns better than ever, he is growing into a healthy and active kitten.

This is the life of stray cats. Not all cats are as lucky as Nemu, to receive the care they need and find a loving home. Overpopulation problem is hurting the animals, they are struggling only to survive; constantly in fear and hunger. Illness and accidents are on the lookout.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a program to control the population through trapping, neutering and returning stray cats to the same location where they were found. To prevent the same cat to undergo another trapping and more importantly unnecessary surgery, ear-tipping as a visible sign is universally accepted. TNR is also benefiting in increasing the cats’ health and quality of life.

As part of our CSR, Maple Leaf Services are active heavily in the TNR program. If you are interested in helping stray cats in your neighbourhood, be in touch with us and we will be more than happy to provide you with the contact details of vet or TNR community in your area.
