You are eligible to be registered as an elector if you:
👉 are aged 18 or above;
👉 are a Hong Kong permanent resident; and
👉 ordinarily reside in Hong Kong.

Application deadlines : 2 June 2026

Address proofs are required when individuals submit their applications for new registration or applications for change in registered address except for those who are the authorised occupants of public rental housing under the Housing Department or registered residents in the tenancy of subsidised housing under the Hong Kong Housing Society and that the addresses in the tenancy records match the residential addresses provided by them.

Eid al-Fitr, commonly abbreviated as Eid, is one of the most important festivals for Muslims.

This day marks the end of the month-long Ramadan period. People typically buy new clothes, exchange gifts, visit relatives and friends, and share food, much like the Chinese New Year celebration. During the festival, people greet each other with "Eid Mubarak," meaning "Blessed on Eid / Happy Eid." In addition, Muslims also help charities or people in need. The way Eid al-Fitr is celebrated, the food eaten, and even the date vary from country to country. The date of Eid al-Fitr is based on the new moon, so it differs from region to region.
