Description
SANCOK Foundation is an independent, Non-Governmental and Non-Profitable Social Organization established came into existence after its founder T/Dr. J.K. Fenteng helped a community called Mawuli Estate( as a Sanitation Committee Secretary) - Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana to attain a status as the First Urban Community in Ghana with Open-Defecation-Free(https://gna.org.gh/2022/11/ho-mawuli-estate-attains-open-defecation-free-status/). Due to the structures put in place such as Actions plans, Sanitation by-laws, Sanitation Committee and Monitoring by Lane Leaders, the work became very easier to realize the said achievement.
The Organization was Established in the year 2023 as Non-Profit Social Organization and duly registered with Registrar General’s Department, Accra - Ghana with the Registration Number CG094231223. It is also affiliated with Social Welfare, Ghana and working closely with the Ho Municipal Division.
SANCOK foundation is involved in different areas of work such as empowering the youth to build their professional capacity, engaging communities to improve good sanitation, providing education on the dangers associated with bad practices that lead to Climate Change, and helping communities to identify possible ways to Socio-Economic Advancement.
MISSION
The mission OF SANCOK Foundation is to partner with Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDA) to attain Open-Defecation-Free status and promote Eco-Tourism by introducing good water, sanitation and tree planting in communities.
VISION
the vision of SANCOK Foundation is to promote good sanitation and Eco-tourism through innovative solutions, community engagement and sustainable practices to reduce the impact of climate change.

AIM
Working with a team of committed people, SANCOK Foundation’s aim has been to build a resilient community through Sanitation, Tree Planting, Self-Reliance Education and Health.
ORGANIZATION'S OBJECTIVES.
The objectives of SANCOK Foundation are:
a. Identify communities in critical need to improve their sanitation and plant more trees.
b. Engage with partners to create sustainable clean environmental practices.
c. Initiate community field actions to improve sanitation and tree planting of the identified communities.
d. Follow up monitoring and education to ensure project continuity.
SCOPE OF WORK AND TARGET
Sanitized Communities Konnect (SANCOK) Foundation is an independent, non-profitable governmental organization (NGOs). It is mainly concerned with implementing non-profitable social work in the field of Youth, Women, Education, Health, Climate Change, Sanitation and Economic Development. We focus on providing opportunities and involvement of young generation in rural and urban communities in Ghana with Open-Defecation-Free and Tree Planting in different communities in Ghana.
