Increased Rat Activity This Winter

A short video to show completion of a recent bird proofing job in Weymouth, Dorset.

This client approached us in search of a solution to protect this newly refurbished roof from seagulls and other pest bird species.

Following our initial site survey we designed a bird deterrent netting system to protect the roof.

Following approval from the client, all products were then supplied and installed by our qualified technicians and after a week of hard work both ourselves and our client are extremely happy with the finished product 😃 ⭐️

An emergency honey bee extraction completed yesterday in Somerset☀️

We wouldn’t normally extract bees this late in the year as they begin their overwintering state, but this customer was having problems with bees entering the property and stinging young children so we made an exception to help the customer.

We approached this one cautiously as we did not want to increase risk of the bees not surviving the extraction.

The bees were safely extracted and re-homed to a new location and then fed to keep them going through the winter months.
All honeycomb has been removed from the chimney and the entrance re-sealed to prevent future colonies from accessing.

Another very happy customer and a satisfying job for the team 😁 🐝

This colony had been residing in this chimney for over four years!
They had filled this chimney line full of honeycomb which spanned a length of around 8ft, pretty amazing.
