A bit late to it… but I love this trend! 🫶🏻

Just a little insight into my life and not just my cleaning business! I haven’t posted for a while on here, as I have been super busy! My business runs 4-5 days a week, and the rest of my time is super occupied! I love spending time with friends and family, going to festivals and on holiday (as I can never get enough of the heat 🫣), and just being out and about!

Not a lot of my clients know, but I actually have a second job outside of running my business. I am a PA to a gorgeous little girl called Tilly (top right on the second slide). I started with her around a year and a half ago just having her Tuesday nights, but absolutely fell in love with her! She has complex medical needs, meaning she can’t communicate or move like we do, and being able to see life from a different point of view has been amazing. Fast forward to opening up my business, it was very clear to everyone that I could never turn her away, so it’s my business & her. I now see her anywhere between 2-5 days a week alongside my business, and I couldn’t be happier. 🩷

This is partially the reason why I am so booked up, as I clean during the days and then will have Tilly Tot from school through the evenings & weekends! I like to have a balance of both, but wanted to give some insight into my life outside of cleaning! I try and get in as many people as I can, but would rather give people premium quality cleans, than book in an extreme amount and not be able to provide the standard I strive for. ✨

I am trying to be much more active on social media’s, as I have so many ideas & ongoing projects, it’s just figuring it all out and realising not everything needs to be done at once… 😅 nothing works for those who don’t do the work, and that is what I’m going by. 🪴

⭐️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ⭐️

As of today, we are now fully booked until start/mid August 2026 at Done & Dusted By Lillie.
This includes all type of cleans; regular (weekly/fortnightly/monthly), commercial, end-of-tenancy, HMO, after builders, deep/one-off, and hoarders/organisational cleans.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to be in this position - that people are that interested in my business that they are happy to wait until August 2026 for a cleaning slot. It is still only me, myself and I behind the business, so there is only so many cleaning slots I can offer!
It is an amazing feeling to be fully booked, showing that I can make this business successful. All of the support I receive consistently (from clients or not) never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated!

I am so overwhelmed with happiness, and I can’t wait to take on more cleans after this time period, and make your spaces beautiful again!

Keeping busy as always - the best this possible! ✨
Last week I had 1 weekly clean, 5 fortnightly clean, 1 commercial clean & a lot of enquiries for deep cleans. 🧼 as well as all other admin tasks! It can be hard at times to keep up with everything, but the hard work really does pay off!!

Black mould and soap scum is extremely common in bathrooms! 🦠 My clients sometimes get embarrassed by it, but it is completely normal and something that most cleaners see a lot!

Black mould is mainly due to the moisture in these rooms, as well as damp and wet conditions from bathtubs, showers and sinks🛁 As a cleaner, I love getting my gloves on and getting my hands dirty, scrubbing and disinfecting these areas, yet if you would like to try and maintain the work of a cleaner in these areas, here are a few tips…

🫧 Use a squeege on shower glass after every use to minimise soap scum and limescale build up
🫧 Keep bottles & items in showers or bathtubs dry (e.g. dry them after use) to prevent black mould build up on seams and walls/tiles
🫧 Have bathroom fan on during every shower or bath to help manage the moisture in the air, or even open a window (e.g put on the latch)
🫧 If your shower is ‘closed door’, keep the door open for a good amount of time after use to allow it to air out, this will help to not entrap moisture causing build up

A few snippets from a moving out/end-of-tenancy clean last month! 🧼
All corners, cupboards, forgotten and hidden places were blitzed and made fresh & sanitised ready for the next homeowners. This is why I come in, to target usually forgotten places which end up making all of the difference! 🤍
Both the client and I were extremely happy with these results, I loved this clean. ⭐️🫧

Did you know that you can add additional services onto your regular cleans? 🧼
A few weeks ago, one of my fortnightly clients asked me for some extra time to clean out their microwave oven and fridge, and so we did just that! Everything was removed, degreased, sanitised and cleaned and put back into place (along with reorganising the fridge contents of course🤩)
This was super satisfying, and existing clients can request this from time to time, or new clients can book in if they just want certain areas or appliances cleaned such as fridges, microwaves, ovens, cupboards, or organisational cleans! ✨
