🚧 BORRAS PARK ROAD — UPDATE 🚧

I’ve just got off the phone from Wrexham County Borough Council and have finally been given clarity regarding the roadworks along Borras Park Road.

To confirm, there will be a full road closure in place while the works take place. However, this will only occur during working hours and access to services will be maintained throughout. The road will reopen in the evenings for residential & business access.

For anyone wishing to use the shops, GP, school clubs during the day, there will be Traffic Management Officers positioned on all the junctions during the day. Their job is to permit you access.

For access to Borras Park shops, I would suggest using the Norfolk Road junction; and for access to the GP surgery and school, I would suggest Cherry Hill Drive. There will be workmen on site to assist all residents.

I’m yet to receive any clarity regarding the bus situation. However it initially appears the Service 35 is totally negating Borras Park Road & the Milebarn Road areas. I’m currently trying to get hold of the relevant Council Officers to determine whether an alternative temporary route can be instated, to ensure our community is still served by public transport.
