We finally beat the boss (not literally) this year and will be able to spend time with our families over the entire festive period. That means tomorrow (Saturday 24 Dec) will be our last wash day for 2022.
If you can, please try to come as early as possible to avoid any big afternoon queues. We will be there ready from 8am and our last wash will be 4pm.
We are sticking with quality so if the queue grows too big towards 'LAST WASH' then the carwash entrance will have to close before 4pm.
SATURDAY 24 DEC: We will be ready 8AM, last wash 4PM
CLOSED: Some behind the scenes maintenance and training
MONDAY 2 JAN: We'll be super fresh and ready 9AM, last wash 4PM

Just letting you know that our last wash for today maybe as early as 3pm.
We will have to keep an eye on the changing temperature to stay open longer.
For anyone who has visited over the last few days, we are sorry for limited wash services available to you.
Temperatures up soon with showers ... please don't let a few showers put you off. Your vehicles are covered in salt (that's the sales pitch done!).

We have closed for today. Yesterday we tried, but the fairly constant minus degrees kept our customers away. Those that did brave it, thank you and we hope that your vehicle went out to a good standard. We have found some solutions and during minus degrees weather you may notice a change in the method we use to wash your vehicle. It is not about offering less, only adjusting to deliver the same end product. We will be open from 8am Wednesday morning.

Good evening,
As always we've not been managing our FB page very well.

Charlies Car Washing - pretty good.
Charlies Marketing - pretty poor. In fact so bad we (we = me!) may have just posted a Charlies feeling emoji (a smiling face with glasses), if it has actually happened or popped up then please ignore.

Need to let you know about a change in our opening hours which will inevitably frustrate some of our customers. The hours have basically been reduced, we can not offer what is regularly a good quality car washing service with reduced day light hours. The only slight offering at present is opening earlier than normal.
For the forthcoming months our open/close times will be:

Mon to Sat 8am to 4pm
Sunday 9am to 4pm

This decision is fully supported by all of the team, and over the last few weeks we did sporadically (Charlies can get busy at times) involve customer feedback/feeling. Regardless of reasons or customer interaction we are obviously very sorry for any negative impact this change may cause upon you.

If any improvement to our 'winter' opening hours becomes a reality then our FB page will be updated with out delay.

Price increase.
We, like many are certainly exhausted of hearing about it and now we have had to join. Our price change is about 8% on average.
We are sorry about this.
If it helps then please ask about our Smart Reward Cards (basically, pre pay cards of 5, 10 or 15 washes) as discounts are available on these.

Thursday 2 June open from 09.00 to 17.00.
Friday 3 June open from 09.00 to 17.00.

Hello All.
Just letting you know that we will be closed this Sunday 17 April but all opening hours will remain as normal either side of Easter Sunday.

Whilst we are on here we'd like to answer a couple of questions:

Yes, we have gift vouchers available.
Christmas Vouchers @ £5.00, £10.00 and £15.00
Reg Vouchers @ Standard, Deluxe and Premium Washes
Pre Pay Vouchers 5 wash, 10 wash & 15 washes with discounts from 15% up to 30% off our normal menu prices.

Unfortunately interior cleaning has been limited until the new year, focusing on exterior car washing is our current priority.

We accept all debit/credit cards and cash.
Basically - Contactless, Pin or Cash.

No car wash booking necessary, just turn up and join the queue or get lucky and beat the queue! Light showers and fog! generally calm the queue down. The mornings are typically quieter, starts building up after around 11.00am. Just a side note, if exceptional heavy rain occurs all day we may close earlier than advertised.

Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: Closed
27th Dec: 09.30 - 17.00
All normal until
New Years Eve: 08.30 - 16.00
New Years Day: Closed
2nd Jan: 09.30 - 17.00
All normal thereafter.
We apologise for any interruption this may cause to you, the team needs a bit of recovery before we go again (hopefully with some new services/additions) in 2022.
