Mobile Cleaner – 32.5 Hours per Week

We are looking for a reliable and flexible Mobile Cleaner to join our team. This role involves travelling between sites, completing cleaning duties to a high standard, and working split shifts as required.

Holiday: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for work use
Role Responsibilities

Cleaning a variety of commercial sites to agreed specifications
Changing and cleaning Sanitary bins on a variety of sites.
Travelling between locations using the company vehicle
Maintaining cleaning equipment and reporting any issues
Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
About You

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Flexible with working hours
Good attention to detail
Full UK driving licence (essential)

We require a methodical and organised individual to join our team as a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor.

This will be a hands on role which will also include supporting the management team with some admin duties, stock control and carrying out monthly audits.

The ideal candidate would need to have experience in both excel and word.

30 hours per week, following a weekly schedule, times will be discussed at interview.

A good eye for detail and high cleaning standards will be required in this role as candidate will be working in a variety of different environments.

Experience in cleaning required (a minimum of 3 years) and a knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH would be beneficial although full training will be given.

Candidate will also need the ability to deal with customers both over the phone and face to face in a professional manner.

A DBS check will be required paid for by the employer.

A full driving license will be required as a company vehicle will be supplied as the successful candidate will be covering/visiting sites across North and West Cumbria.

Above national minimum wage.

We require a competent individual to complete hands on cleaning , order cleaning stock and consumable items for the school. You will also be responsible for opening up the school in the morning and locking the school after the cleaning shift finishes.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for completing fire alarm and safety lighting checks throughout the site.

These hours are Monday to Friday during 39 weeks of term time and you will also be required to complete a deep cleaning schedule during 3 weeks of school holidays (dates to be arranged throughout the year)

This post is based on the outskirts of Cockermouth therefore your own transport is essential.

4.30pm to 8.30 pm Monday to Friday
Cleaning experience preferred although training will be given to the successful applicant
An eye for detail is required as you will be working with the medical environment. Infection control, COSHH and health and safety knowledge would also be an advantage.
Current rate is 8.91 per hour rising to £9.50 in April.
