The FWC have confirmed there attendance again for 2026. With the planning into the seminar schedule well underway we wanted to ensure our members and those within the industry are provided with useful and beneficial information and or support, so we are asking for your input on what seminars you would like to see.

The FWC have been working behind the scenes with manufacturers and suppliers of water fed poles to improve the safety when working near overhead powerlines and the risk of electrocution.

Following our recent meeting we wanted to say a big thank you to all who have been involved and are continuing to make changes. There is still lots to do but progress is being made.

Currently, the pace of change within the industry is increasing. Building owners, facility managers, and duty holders face mounting obligations to prioritise worker safety, minimise operational downtime, and implement cost-effective maintenance solutions. Additionally, the architectural trend towards taller and more intricate façades has driven the sector to investigate innovative access and cleaning methods that effectively mitigate risk without compromising standards.

Recent advances include the adoption of various robotic cleaning systems and drones, designed to automate repetitive and dangerous operations, some also equipped with precision imaging capabilities for rapid and accurate exterior surveys.
