What is the Job?

Customer Service Administrator dealing with issues and orders over the phone and via email and liaising with suppliers to achieve the best results for our clients. All orders are input into our bespoke software system. Handling and uploading compliance documentation and uploading data to our system are also integral parts of this role. An element of support for our operational team is also included such as booking machinery services and recording statistics for reports. The main elements of the role include:

·Taking telephone calls from customers and suppliers and dealing with the issues/orders.

· Timely updating of our bespoke job system to ensure all detail, including pricing is correct.

· Entering documents and data into our bespoke job system to enable timely reporting and up to date legal compliance.

· Requesting quotes for goods and services from our supplier chain in support of new business tenders

· Liaising with suppliers to obtain the best service for our clients

· Liaising with our onsite employees over jobs on site.

· Creating monthly reports and statistics.

· Administration tasks in support of the operational team

The role is Part time (24.50 worked hours per week with flexibility to go full time to cover holidays and absences), office based. Normal working pattern will be ½ days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and a full day on Wednesday.

Who are you?

This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a customer service environment who enjoys and is comfortable and confident in dealing with people on the telephone. You will also be competent with Microsoft packages and with entering data onto data base systems. A friendly and flexible person who is looking to be part of a fast paced and growing business. Onsite training will be provided, although the successful candidate should have:

· At least 3 years relevant job experience

· Excellent communications skills – verbal and written

· Highly numerate with meticulous attention to detail

· Highly organised with excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise workload

· Experience of Microsoft packages – proficient with Excel (basic formula and formatting)

· Administrative experience in a busy working office

· A can-do attitude and a flexible approach

· A logical approach to your work and attention to detail

Environmental/ Cleaning Contract Manager

Waste Efficiency are seeking a Contract Manager for our customers site in Newport, Wales the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

Principal Accountabilities:

To be accountable for the Health and Safety of all Waste Efficiency staff on site and hold regular safety briefings with the team.
Oversee all aspects of staff management – recruitment, appraisal, discipline and overall performance.
Liaise with clients to ensure high standards and client requirements are routinely met or exceeded.
Corrective actions identified by audit – either Customer/Waste Efficiency/ISO auditor
Continuous development of recycling/cleaning methods and techniques – keeping abreast of new equipment and technologies.
Track the use of consumables and supplies by site location to ensure minimum waste/loss.
Monitor the hours delivered against contract by site location.
Seek new opportunities for improving our services at existing customers.
Cooperate with Waste Efficiency selected contractors in quality of delivery of services to site.

Waste Efficiency are suppliers of waste management and industrial cleaning services and have been awarded an industrial cleaning contract based at a site in Exhall, Coventry.

We require 2 industrial cleaners to work every Sunday for 7 hours each, jetting out the paint line using pressurised water and spray wands.

Industrial cleaning experience is required, but training will be provided.

All PPE will be provided and the candidate must be comfortable wearing full protective gear and breathing apparatus.

There is opportunity for one of the team to become a supervisor, bringing a higher rate of pay. This will be discussed and assessed with you on contract start.

9am – 4pm every Sunday. 7 hours per week.

Pay rate is £15ph

Supervisor rate £16ph

START DATE:

FRIDAY 24th September for 3 hours induction onto site and familiarisation at 10am

First 4 shifts – Sunday 26th September, Sunday 3rd October, Sunday 10th October, Sunday 17th October

You will be an employee of Waste Efficiency and all pay is paid Monthly on the 25th of each month.

Job description
Waste Efficiency are seeking a hard working and driven individual to join us as an environmental operative at our customer's site in Hereford.

We are the subcontractors to our client and are tasked to manage their waste services on site and work closely with their HSE manager on day to day tasks.

Using fork lift trucks and waste vehicles to empty waste bins and processing wastes on site, you will be part of a team integral to the operations on site. We have a fully trained member of staff who you will work alongside to learn the role.

Health and safety must be adhered to at all times and training will be given on processes and risk assessments when on site. There are many hazardous on site due to the nature of the factory so diligence and awareness must be used at all times according to the risk assessments.

Working on the waste yard, your duties will include:

- Moving waste around site both manually and with a Fork Lift truck.

- You will be required to manage the yard, segregating waste and recyclable materials.

- Operating waste processing machinery.

- Loading skips and keeping the yard area clean and tidy.

- The ideal candidate will be fit and active, have experience operating machines and have a positive and flexible attitude.

- Call in skip exchanges and waste movements with head office and arrange overtime with the client where needed.

Presence of current counterbalance fork lift license is required.

Working hours are 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

You will be required to clean to an exceptionally high standard and the tasks will include the use of a scrubber dryer, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning toilets.

Must be experienced in the cleaning for the NHS or private healthcare.

You are expected to provide cover for other team members when required!

Waste Efficiency require a hard working and driven individual to join our team at our customer's site in Newport.

Duties to include , removal and segregation of waste from the production line, general factory and train cleaning and at times assisting the damage protection team.

Typical working hours will be 06:00 – 14:00 Monday to Friday . However applicants would ideally be willing to work and cover other shift patterns when needed. Holiday and sickness cover or a change to the factories needs for example.

The other shift times are 14:00 – 22:00 and 22:00 -06:00 Any night shifts that get worked carry a premium of 30% for shift allowance.

Rate of pay £9.75p.h. with the potential for this to rise with training.

Experience of working in this environment and a fork lift and scissor lift license advantageous but not essential.
