WE’RE HIRING! 💥

Due to the expansion of our shop,an opportunity has arisen to join our friendly sales team at Happy Horse Saddlery in Melton. We are looking for someone who would enjoy a customer-facing position, is willing to learn, and who is able to work well under pressure as part of the team and individually. Reliability and good time keeping skills are essential. The applicant will need to be confident using the phones and computer systems, and understand that this is a physical job which will require manual handling of feed and bedding.

There are two positions, one full time starting asap.
One part time position to start end of July potential to start earlier.

Good Morning everyone!🌞

Just a quick reminder that we will remain open 7 days a week over Lockdown 2.0.

Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday 10am-4pm

The shop is well stocked of feed, bedding, supplements and lots of other horsey essentials to get you through lockdown. We will be getting regular deliveries of all of these items to make sure our shelves always remain full throughout.

Click and collect services will be available all the way through lockdown for those who wish to make minimum contact. You can place a click and collect order by contacting us on one of the following -

We will continue to stick to social distancing rules in the shop and all of our members of staff are washing hands frequently as well as wearing a mask/visor. Shop surfaces are also being disinfected regularly as well as the card machine to keep everyone safe.

📢 We are in need of your help please 🙏

With the current safety measures, and the accompanying temporary closure of most tourist information offices, we have found it very difficult to get our posters out regarding our exciting news of reopening 😃.

We are therefore asking all of our loyal supporters if it would be at all possible to print off the attached poster and to display it for us. 🦠 COVID-19 UPDATE 🦠

In response to the Government’s most recent advice, Happy Horse will remain open 7 days a week and will continue as normal for the foreseeable future.

We are currently following Government guidelines and all members of staff are frequently washing hands and disinfecting surfaces around the shop.

We are now offering a Click and Collect service, for any customers wanting to shop without making contact. For more information please contact the shop!

We have had a few questions regarding our rug washing, reproofing and repairing prices - we have updated our price list and it is now all up to date!😁

🐴 Our turn around time is approximately 1 week, but may vary depending on time of year
🐴 Repair only rugs must be in a clean state to be repaired
🐴 We can collect and drop off rugs (please contact us for more details)
🐴 24 hours express service is available on request
