one of my favourite flowers is the foxglove. There's something about seeing a fuzzy little bumblebee butt sticking out of a flower that brings me deep joy. This garden is the prettiest, with foxgloves, cowslips, primroses, wood avens, hedge woundwort, green alkanet, cuckoo pint and dog violets. Mr Blackbird has spotted me weeding and popped into the branches of an apple tree to wait until I've finished so he can go grubbing for insects. Feeling very lucky to be able to do what I love.
