Tackling and removing bracken from a client's garden this morning. Even the green leaves are dry and go up like tinder in a fire. My client's garden backs onto a field, so it's doubly important to make sure I reduce any vegetation that poses a risk.

Leaving water for the wildlife. Penny came up with the idea of putting a lid in so that bees can climb out and dry their wings if they fall in. Do you leave water out for wildlife?

one of my favourite flowers is the foxglove. There's something about seeing a fuzzy little bumblebee butt sticking out of a flower that brings me deep joy. This garden is the prettiest, with foxgloves, cowslips, primroses, wood avens, hedge woundwort, green alkanet, cuckoo pint and dog violets. Mr Blackbird has spotted me weeding and popped into the branches of an apple tree to wait until I've finished so he can go grubbing for insects. Feeling very lucky to be able to do what I love.

One of the best things about my work is that it's so personal. I'm not just a number. My clients know my family and ask after them, and I know theirs.
One of my lovely ladies sent me home with this for my daughter. How amazing is that? Happy Easter everyone!
