Here at J & M Tubes Limited we are seeking a self-motivated Factory Steel cutter/machine operator person to join our Wolverhampton based company. The role is Full time, Monday to Fridays, (Mon - Thurs 7am - 3.45pm and Fridays 6am - 2pm ) on a permanent basis for the right candidate. Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. A crane licence and Fork lift truck licence would be a benefit but full training can be provided where necessary for the right candidate. We are a family run Steel Cutting & Supply company looking for the right person to join our team.

Tasks & duties you will be trained for include:

- Operating various cutting machines and to include a Vibro machine - Banding, packaging and palletising stock on the back end of the machines

- Operating 2 Ton & 3 Ton overhead cranes to move different types of steel - (Crane licence useful but Training can be provided)

- Assisting with loading/offloading steel into storage racks and onto machines - Fork lift truck operation (Fork lift truck licence useful but Training can be provided after the initial probation period)

- General housekeeping - keeping work areas and factory tidy. A background in the industry is not required but would be useful.

Benefits include:-

- Pension contributions - where necessary Training in overhead cranes & forklift truck operations - Standard Annual holiday allowance

After this horrible year we have decided to close on the 11th of December this year so we can recharge our batteries fully as we've worked straight through all year.
