Our old Historic Grade II Property & Paddocks Renovation & Development - Coast Spas Hot Tub 💦

When it came to choosing our Hot Tub at home here in Berkshire, we were of course bias in our choice 😂

We chose the biggest & best, Canadian Built🇨🇦, Infinity Edge Hot Tub on the market - The Coast Spas Niagara II.

Once more, we wanted to create an idyllic, picture perfect, space that reflected both our private family and wider social entertaining needs and one that connected directly with the swimming pool area, away from the main house.

Development works included, digging out and casting a substantial concrete base for the Hot Tub & Sunbathing Area, laying large paving stones around the Hot Tub and Log Cabin / Changing Room, that we erected to store all the cushions & Hot Tub stuff away out of sight. We also ran a new electrical supply, including an Isolator Switch for the Hot Tub, to the swimming pool plant room, where we had previously already installed the latest coded, consumer breaker board, dedicated just to the pool area and its supporting electrical requirements.

Our old Historic Grade II Property & Paddocks Renovation & Development - Swimming Pool 💦

When it came to refurbishing our own Marbelite In-ground Swimming Pool at home here in Berkshire, no expense was spared🤔

We wanted to create an idyllic, picture perfect, Tropical Paradise that reflected both our private family and wider social entertaining needs.

That meant keeping the swimming pool refurbishment brief as authentic, original, honest and practical as possible, one that complemented the curtilage of the historic property which it was set in, hidden away, while subtlety benefiting from modern technologies such as, LED Lighting, Salt Chlorination Generation and upgrading to a Calorex Reverse Cycle Heat Pump heating for all year round use.

Extensive refurbishment works also included, digging out all the old hoses from the ground, by hand, from the pool into the plant room, then laying and plumbing in new 1.5 inch ABS pipes and fittings. We also ran a new electrical supply to the plant room and installed the latest coded consumer breaker board dedicated just to the pool and its supporting electrical requirements.

To help reduce water and chemical evaporation along with heat retention, we fitted a Sol+ 500 Solar Cover and used a Plastica Slidelock Reel System to help load and unload the cover on and off our swimming pool.

Our old Historic Grade II Property & Paddocks Renovation & Development - with the help of our Good Old Massey Ferguson MF35 Red Tractor (and some cheap child labour)😍

Where would we be without our ever faithful family favourites? Lost count of the times the Massey MF35 got stuck (no locking rear diff) when we were digging and levelling the paddock off whilst developing and renovating our properties grounds & needed help from a selection of our 4x4

Having passionately lived and restored some of the countries finest listed residential historic properties, dating back to (circa 1536) we fully appreciate and understand the scope of any projects recreation and development potential.
