Evening, today i had the pleasure of valeting this Mercedes SLK250 it was having wax applied too as well as a interior clean, firstly this Merc was in a bit of a well challenging condition, the paintwork felt like sand paper, the alloys are not in the best of condition either, so as usual I started off with the wheels and i cleaned them to the best that i was able to, it did take a few times to get them to how the final pictures show.
Next up was to snowfoam the SLK and agitate all round the rubbers by the windows, the badges, lights, basically all the nooks and crannies to loosen up the green mould and dirt.
After a couple of rounds, it was time to wash the Mercedes and i must say it was satisfying to see the dirt and grime coming off, again i went round the car twice to ensure that i washed it thoroughly, after a rinse i then gave the SLK a good going over with iron fallout remover because although it looked "clean" it definitely required further decontamination before i could think about applying wax, after another round of snowfoam to neutralise the fallout remover the car was rinsed and dried, it was now that i could actually start to apply the Angelwax enigma wax to protect the paintwork for many months ahead, when it is next wshed the dirt should just fall off.
Right now onto the interior and as the pictures suggest it was in desperate need of a good clean, so all interior surfaces thoroughly cleaned with LRC interior cleaner, floor mats and carpets were vacuumed thoroughly, brush attachment applied to my drill to ensure a good deep clean, the steering wheel was annoying me looking shiny and grimy so i couldn't resist giving it the once over, i can't stand a dirty wheel 😆😆
After a good vacuum and clean, the last thing to do was the glass.
Now the Mercedes SLK250 is looking sharp again and ready to roll into spring...when it arrives.
Have a good evening.
