🚨 JOB VACANCY – WHEELIE BIN CLEANING OPERATIVE / DRIVER 🚨

EcoClean Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our wheelie bin cleaning team.

The role involves driving a company vehicle on scheduled routes and cleaning customers’ wheelie bins after they have been emptied.

Main duties include:

• Driving a company wheelie bin cleaning vehicle
• Following scheduled routes across Essex
• Cleaning, disinfecting and deodorising wheelie bins
• Using pressure-washing and cleaning equipment
• Updating completed jobs on our mobile scheduling system
• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
• Keeping the vehicle and equipment clean and tidy

The successful applicant must:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have good customer service skills
• Be able to follow instructions and manage a busy daily route
• Take pride in their work

Previous driving or cleaning experience would be helpful, but full training will be provided.

Working days: Tuesday to Friday
Start time: 9:00am
Finish time: Once the scheduled route has been completed
Location: Braintree and surrounding areas
Pay: To be discussed
Start date: As soon as possible

Finishing times may vary depending on the route, workload, traffic, weather and council bin collections.

🚨 Important Update for Braintree District Customers 🚨

As many of you may already know, Braintree District Council are introducing major changes to household waste and recycling collections from June 2026.

To make sure your wheelie bin cleaning service continues to run smoothly alongside the new council schedules, we’re also making some changes to how our service plans work.

✅ New service plans start 1st June 2026
✅ Plans are designed to match the new council collection frequencies
✅ Existing customers must choose their preferred plan before 25th May
✅ If we don’t receive your plan choice, unfortunately we won’t be able to continue visits until one has been selected
