It Might Be Time To Say Goodbye… 👋🚐
If you’d have told me three years ago, back when I was working out the back of a cramped 3 door VW Polo that I’d eventually have my dream van, fully kitted out and looking this good, I’d have laughed in your face.
But here we are!
Unfortunately, this isn’t just a post for me to toot my own horn about how slick the setup looks. I’ve hit a point where spending nearly £1,000 a month just to keep this van on the road makes absolutely zero sense. Between trying to save for a house and actually wanting a life outside of work, the overhead has been absolutely crippling.
You’re probably wondering how the hell a van costs £1k a month. But when you factor in the finance payment, £100 a week in fuel, insurance, tax, and maintenance… it vanishes fast.
As much as I love this rig, and trust me, I’m genuinely heartbroken to let it go it’s time to make a smart business call.
One step back, three steps forward.
I’m officially looking at making the switch to an electric van. Cutting out the fuel and crazy running costs is going to save me roughly £6,000 a year. When you’re trying to buy a house and scale a business, that is massive.
A huge thank you to everyone who keeps booking in and supporting me. This is a massive shift, but it’s the move that’s going to allow me to level up the business and secure the future.
Hopefully over the next month or so things fall into place and my financial situation becomes a bit more manageable.
