Last weekend the boys and I attended the Prestige Awards where we received 26/27 winner of embroidery service of the year.

This was a complete shock when we got the phone call and honestly thought was just a wind up but greatly humbled to know our hard work and stress gets recognised.

Thank you however it came about 😂

Going on from this we received an email last week that Caitlin has also been awarded finalist in the 2026 female entrepreneur for small business awards, though I doesn’t expect to win, again it’s nice to be recognised and maybe we shall just live stream the awards and have our Christmas night out 😂

Thank you again to all our customer and staff who help make these things happen

Maybe a wee 🥂🍾 to celebrate

The ratings don’t really bother me as I know some people just rate low or mark down for silly things but comments like these really mean something. 🥰

This year has really been amazing, it’s been our busiest year since I’ve taken over and also busier than before Covid times and then to be awarded a small/medium best embroidery business award (which I collected on Monday photos to follow) and to have comments like these really make the hard work worth it.

I’m very lucky to have a great team working to a high standard and going beyond with customers and some great family and friends to help whenever asked and most of all they all have to listen to my crazy ideas and constant moans 😂😂 most of the time they just switch off🙄 but that’s fine 😂

Thanks again team and all our customers

Super impressed with Wee George’s proposal at the weekend that now we are sponsoring him 😂

We are big believers in helping where we can especially when it comes to the younger generation so delighted we can help the next generation of Coghill’s and their racing dreams. Good luck George

🏁 MEET THE DRIVER 🏁

Hi! I’m George 👋🏼

I’m 9 years old and absolutely mad about anything with an engine! 🏎️💨

I love karting, I love going fast, and I love the friends I’ve made through racing. Some of my favourite weekends are spent at the track with my karting mates, having fun, helping each other out and then battling it out on track! 🏁

When I’m not karting, you’ll probably find me driving something, riding my mountain bike or finding anything with an engine that I can have a go at!

And if I’m not doing any of those things… I’m probably eating a ham sandwich.

This page is going to follow my karting journey, the good races, the tough races, the early mornings, the travelling, the behind-the-scenes, the friendships and hopefully plenty of 🏆 along the way.

I’m very lucky to already have the support of The Home Bakery, Wick and Wick Laundry and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.

So, if you like karting, racing, bikes, engines and following a 9-year-old chasing his dreams, give me a follow and come along for the ride! 🏎️💨

George 🏁

Well not sure what to say but stick with me…

As many know the 28th of August is the anniversary of Dads passing but this year on the 28th of August I received a phone call from Prestige Awards letting us know we’d been shortlisted for the small/medium business awards 😃. Now I thought this is a wind up and laughed it all off, having many a joke about it especially with it landing on that date 👻

We then received an email and calls so I thought ok maybe not a wind up 🤔

Well we’ve just received another call and we’ve only gone and won 🥇

Honestly shocked and delighted to be recognised for everything we do.

Time to crack open then 🥂🍾 thank you to all our customers and a special thank you to staff who’ve helped get us here

Wow what can I say about our team building weekend 😂

Tunes By The Dunes was amazing massive well done to all involved and organising. A lot of hard work and dedication goes into these events and to us it looked like it all went without a hitch. Great staff keeping everything moving along quickly. The music was amazing great locals bands getting everyone going and some big names on the stage unbelievable to think you you can do that in Caithness absolutely superb. Hard to choose a favourite but the Rolling Drones if never heard of and wow the energy they had on stage was insane I’m tired watching the videos back and they were non stop their whole set. As always Puldagon Farm Shop & Restaurant looked after me 🐽 I knew I should’ve come back for nachos to take home 🤤 all the food vendors looked great honestly what a great weekend.

Was great catching up with people and making new friends from all over the country. We will be back to work tomorrow refreshed after our crazy busy summer but as I was singing and screaming so much I’m sure you’ll all be happy that I probably won’t be able to talk tomorrow 😂 thank you again TBTD 💃🏻 🎶
