Today is the day people, can anyone with washing still at the shop please come and collect it or message me if you're not able too and we'll make arrangements. I'll be there 10-3 as usual and Debbie will try to be there 2-3pm but has to remain in the car for shielding purposes

It is with heavy hearts we need to tell you that will be locking up on Saturday for the final time. Thank you to our loyal customers who have been with us over the years and to our staff who've kept the place going. When I started here over a year ago we were on a rocky road and I was told it could shut within a fortnight- so we've done well to stay open for as long. Thank you again, and good luck to you all in future.

We ask that all customers collect their laundry as soon as possible (we'll be open Friday 10am-3pm and Saturday 10am-3pm) as we are unable to remain open after Saturday. This includes dry cleaning.

NEW OPENING TIMES!

Monday - 10am-3pm
Tuesday - 10am-3pm
Wednesday - 10am-3pm
Thursday - closed
Friday - 10am-3pm
Saturday - 10am-3pm
Sunday - closed

From today our lovely Angela is back working in the shop every Tuesday and Wednesday. Here is our new schedule, until further notice we are still only allowing service washes which range from £12.50 for a medium bag of clothing/a single, thin quilt up to 18.50 for a large or thick quilt.

We have reopened with a bang! 6 customers have dropped off already and our set up is working well so far.

We’re running on reduced hours with me (Jade) in the shop working Monday’s, Fridays and Saturdays 10AM-3PM. We cannot allow customers inside of the shop so instead please place your washing on the seats outside and knock if I don’t notice you. (Often the case as I’ll be busy folding etc). I’ll come to the door in mask and gloves to talk about what you want doing and if you give me your number I’ll text when it’s ready for collection or I will just give a ticket if you don’t want to leave your number. Knock yourself out with the hand sanitizer (but not literally)!

We’re also doing set fees which I will explain in another post.

10AM-3PM TEST OPENING TOMORROW.

Apologizes for the late notice however we have decided to re-open our doors for business tomorrow. Not literally though, to keep things easier we are only accepting service drop-offs, and customers will not be permitted to enter nor wait for their washing as usual. (We're going to have a lovely table waiting for your washing and will be putting other safety precautions in place). We are going to be running by set fees for the foreseeable future to keep having to give change to a minimum. More information regarding set fees and business hours to come tomorrow morning.

At this time we’re asking all customers with any washing at our shop to come and collect it as soon as possible please. There’s a good possibility we’ll be closing on Wednesday for the foreseeable future due to the spread of the Corona Virus.

And just like that everybody we’ve left the holidays behind! It was our busiest holidays to date. January is a big down time for all retailers, yet alone family ran ones, so don’t forget to shop local! After all, can you really be bothered to fold up all those pesky clothes? 😴😴 (we can!)
