We're delighted to share that our brand new Rug Cleaning service is now available in Carrickfergus, Whitehead and Larne.

Simply leave your rug in to any of our shops and we will take care of the rest.

Q. Can you clean all types of rugs?
A. Yes. Whether you have a traditional handwoven rug, a modern shaggy pile design or a delicate handmade antique rug (and everything in between) it’s likely we’ll be able to clean it!

Q. How long does it take?
A. Turn around times approx. 1 week

Q. How much does it cost?
A. £1.55 per square foot

Q. Can you collect and deliver?
A. Yes, if its convenient for you, we can collect and deliver back to your home or work address.

We follow and 10 step treatment plan:
Step 1:
Thoroughly inspect your rug to assess the level of treatment required.
Step 2:
Using the industry's most effective equipment we extract all the grit and dry soiling that gathers in your rug.
Step 3:
Using The Rug Spa's unique dry extraction process we remove all oil & greased based dirt.
Step 4:
At this stage we conduct a PH test to ensure all the colours within the rug are stable and that they will not run.
Step 5:
Full emersion wash in the rug spa, using environmentally friendly and wool safe shampoo and cold water, your rug is gently massaged clean using specialist machinery and brushes.
Step 6:
Complete rug rinse using filtered water to ensure a softer finish to the rug fibres.
Step 7:
Rug spinning in our centrifuge machine, removing 95% of moisture from the rug.
Step 8:
The rug is put on our drying rack to finish drying in a controlled environment.
Step 9:
Bacterial treatment using our fumigation machine we pe*****te deep into the fibres of the rug killing 99% of known germs.
Step 10:
Fringe finishing and final inspection.
