Over the weekend I was tagged multiple times and sent a post where Cllr Louie O'Leary Littlemoor/Preston Dorset Councillor for Littlemoor and Preston
had cleaned a very dirty local sign 🪧

10/10 for time and effort, but due to not having the correct equipment there was still a section high up that needed some attention. So, setting off a little earlier than planned this morning, I made a quick diversion to offer my services to the community and finish the job properly.

After your block paving has been professionally cleaned, the original kiln-dried sand between the joints is usually washed away during the process.
Re-sanding is an important final step because the sand helps lock the blocks together, prevents movement, and reduces w**d growth 🌱 ❌

This section of guttering was completely full of water due to a blockage. Instead of removing the blockage straight away and risking water and debris rushing down the downpipe potentially causing another blockage further along. I first removed some of the standing water using the gutter vacuum system before carefully clearing the issue properly.

A safer, cleaner and more effective way to get everything flowing as it should 🏠 🦖

Due to the condition and steep slope of this driveway, the safest and most effective method was to work carefully in small sections. Pre-treating before being thoroughly cleaned using the turbo nozzle to lift years of dirt, algae, and grime.
