Our home help services are tailored to meet individual need - created for people who don't require daily carers but need help from time to time to enable them to maintain their independence and support their mental well-being. We recently helped a disabled lady set up her home for a dinner party so that she could host a special birthday party for a family member. We took her shopping so she could choose her own ingredients and pick a special gift, ironed the table linen and laid the table, helped to chop and prepare veg and she did the rest herself. This was something she thought she'd never be able to do again after falling ill. We went back the following day to clear up and it was lovely to see how happy she was. One client, wanted to go for a walk in a place that was special to them but didn't want to ask family because he felt they already did 'too much' and was conscious of being 'too slow' due to reduced mobility. We didn't mind a steady pace, packed a picnic and had a brilliant afternoon listening to wonderful tales. We love that each job is different and so fulfilling to the client 😊.
