We gave our youngest son Noah a Santa’s Secret Letter yesterday. It was a very emotional moment.
Noah has been at high school since September and is a naturally skeptical and considerate boy… and completely obsessed with football!
We thought that explaining the truth about how Christmas works was best to come from us rather than hearsay at school, or some older kids being mean.
Aside from that, Noah has been asking for more and more expensive and elaborate things from Santa! (Wouldn’t we all if we didn’t understand that money was an issue?!)
As he read the contents of the letter, you could see the understanding on his face.
He signed the declaration and has kept it in his drawer as a keep sake.
Now he has taken a step into the grown up world and will keep the secret of Santa and his magic alive for the younger children in his life. Eventually they too will become old enough to understand and ask the right questions. This is when those children and their parents would benefit from Santa’s Secret Letter.
Santa’s Secret Letter is simply a keep sake letter/scroll that parents can buy for their child when they think he or she is at the age when they dont believe in Santa anymore (if they ever did😬😅). It explains the history of Christmas and without giving too much away, really gets them to take responsibility for the other young kids in their lives, like their siblings or school friends.
