We have been super busy this year with multiple projects on the go, and we’re just catching up with jobs now being completed 👌🏼

Recently we had a five finger parquet floor that needed a small repair made. Sanded three times and filled several times using a colourless liquid, which we mixed with sawdust from the sanding until there were no more gaps!

We applied two coats of treatexuk Clear Soft Satin Hard Wax Oil to finish 😍

Refurb time!! 😎

We removed the screed from the section of the floor where a wall had previously been knocked down. Using a Hyper Grinder rotary machine fitted with a 180-grit Winnex brush and specialist cleaning products from stone_care_direct_ltd, we removed the remaining underlay residue and carried out a deep clean of the quarry tiles.

This process restored the surface, leaving the tiles clean and fresh 👏🏼👏🏼

Yearly Hall Maintenance Complete ✅

This time it was time for a re-sand, and the results speak for themselves. All the scratches, scuffs, and wear from chair legs and a busy school year— gone.

The floor is now looking fresh, smooth, and ready to handle another year of action 💪🏼

Before, during & after of this gorgeous oak floor! 😍🪵

We sanded the oak floor in the entrance, hallway, toilet and platform area – and it came up beautifully. The customer wanted to keep a similar colour to what they had before, and after testing a few options, stain in Sucupira turned out to be a perfect match. 👌

So happy with how this one turned out – warm, clean, and full of character. Nothing like fresh oak to bring a space back to life! ✨

Supply and fit of tumbled oak … not as straight forward as some people think 🫣

Once the carpet, underlay and gripper was lifted we then came across quarry tiles which also needed to be taken up along with pine boards.

After all this we could then begin with the process of fitting a floor. Starting off with applying a primer by hand to the subfloor because of how uneven it was... 3 coats of primer later and 2 coats of moisture suppressant - the sub levelling was then ready to go!

Finally, after all of the prep work was complete, it was time to start laying the tumbled oak into a stunning herringbone pattern with a border 😍

To finish the floor off, we supplied and fitted a front door mat, gave it a light sand and coated it in a hard wax oil for a protecting and lasting finish 🪵😎

🪵 Barn Restoration 🪵

We had a pine floor that was in need of some attention! This was due to it being untouched for many years, along with bad weather that managed to sneak in through gaps and cracks 🌧️

However we worked our magic and turned it into a usable area. We also made a temporary staircase to get our machines up… there’s a first for everything 😂 but yet again the team smashed it 💪🏼

Now this job was hard work but SOOO satisfying to see the end result! Just look at the transformation 😍 😮‍💨

This was a full building refurbishment for a large national company, with repairs to both floors, also having to fit new blocks and then colour them to match the existing tropical wood.
This is when the team traded their sanding machines for paintbrushes, seamlessly transforming from expert floor sanders to precise painters, carefully & skilfully mixing colours and applying them with the perfect placement and accuracy - especially along the edges, so they executed crisp, clean lines 👌🏼

What a job, and what a team! 👏🏻💙
